The only place to watch this version was on Netflix so I had to sit this one out. I kinda enjoyed the original cut of the 4th season. I don't think I ever made it all the way through the chronological cut. And I've still never watched season 5. But I'd much rather watch Community.

2026-02-19 22:12:50 +0000 UTCI think the 5th season was better than 4. But that's also a low bar. Certainly not something you'll miss in your life. I would recommend watching the series on YT, I think there's just a couple, called "it was as shitshow" or something like that. About what happened in the production during season 4 if you're interested. It certainly explains a lot. TLDR: There was basically not a writing process because the disjointed concept didn't work. They just couldn't get something good together in time. Sometimes rewrites being handed out to actors as the cameras were about to roll. Exactly the type of mess one might imagine.

2026-02-18 19:02:15 +0000 UTCCouldn't agree more. For Community the show can sometimes feel a little off, but I'm sorry to say that a lot Arrested Development 4 and 5 is unwatchable. I've only been checking in to find the moment where Tobias ends up being mistaken for a predator. 😂 Are they thinking of doing Community? I would absolutely LOVE that.

2026-02-18 18:54:55 +0000 UTCI love the first three seasons of this show so much but there is a reason why a lot of fans, including myself, dont revisit the series. Skipping season 5 is a good decision, its terrible. I dont even know how to describe it, its just bad. I really loved watching the first 3 seasons again. Just wish they were able to retain the same writers for these last two seasons.
