Drink every time they say Coltrane.
This might be the most bizarre movie I've ever watched. Like the puppetry is dare I say, really good? But the movie just kind of meanders around for awhile and eventually ends with an ending that makes sense. Even the start of the movie I thought was really intriguing, I mean I was a little confused because they made it seem like dinosaurs were only going to exist again after Kane blew up the world so I thought that was just backstory for the world building but no Dino's just be existing in this world. A little unclear as to why Kane wanted to blow up the world when he was planning on doing what he was already doing, but whatever. I actually unironically love this movie.
Did a little Wikipedia researching and apparently Whoopi agreed to do this movie in 1992 and then wanted to back out of it, but was sued for $20million. She eventually agreed to do the movie for $2million more than she had initially agreed so she just went with it. Also at the time when this was released it was the most expensive direct to video movie.

Another highly entertaining animatronics movie I’d recommend, The Guyver 1991, about a cyborg enhanced superhero vs space monsters. Made and Directed by the special effects master behind Predator, Big Trouble in Little China, and The Abyss. Just because he could.

Wild. As a kid I’d have loved this, but what a fever dream!! Amazing how much work went into things back then. If y’all are fans of weird movies like this then please watch Howard the Duck!!
