MLP - Princess Twilight Sparkle concept design (sketch)

This was something I've been wanting to make for a month after watching My Little Pony: The Movie, a visual design for Twilight Sparkle as a princess. The dress was inspired by the green dress Anna was wearing in Frozen (probably my favourite Disney character in a very long time), but it won't have too many details. The dresses and buildings from that Disney film were based on scandinavian culture. However, Twilight's dress will be much more simple in comparison to that film. I'll use three colors: Light purple, magenta and light yellow.

I'll be in the minority by saying this, but one of the details I didn't like about Twilight in the later seasons was that she didn't have a clear princess role. She was reading some books like before, but now she has wings. And yes, we kinda see her doing some princess duties in Princess Spike and Party Pooped, but these episodes were about Spike and about Pinkie Pie. Fortunately we have Princess Twilight Sparkle and Twilight's kingdom, two very well done episodes (although I admit I have one or two problems with each episode). Because of that, I'm glad that in the first minutes of the film we see Twilight being worried with her princess duties. That made me love the movie even more when I first saw it.

I'm practising with the Disney style (particularly Jin Kim's style) and I'll apply that style to everyone. One of my major problems of my drawings (specially the very first ones I have in Deviantart) is that the eyes were so big that the characters didn't have a forehead. I didn't notice it until my teacher has taught us how to draw properly. I like this result, although I'm not sure if you like Disney's style.

I like the grumpy Twilight. She's like "dude, stop nitpicking about everything". xD

I'm still working on the Pinkie Pie drawing. I'm not sure when that is going to be finished (maybe tomorrow or the next day).
