So it’s been hard not to point out specific issues with the Season 4 remix over the original cut without being spoiler-y, but we have a chance here. In a scene between Lucille and Buster, we see Lucille quote Marc Cherry’s song “Getaway” to Buster, after which she says “That song could have been written about my own son.” That joke lands perfectly on the original as the scene between Lucille and Buster is after the episode about GOB where he meets Marc Cherry and has the song written about him. But in the remix, we get the punchline before we even meet Marc Cherry and he writes the song about GOB. Also, the “To Trap a Predator” scene has a lot more jokes and discussion between Tobias and John Beard. A shame it was cut down so much.
