MLP - Tempest Shadow drinking coffee

This is a drawing suggested by TitanKilla, one of the patrons. Thank you for your support and I hope you like it! ;)

The last hours from of making of this were specially difficult, mainly because of the color of the background and the brightness and shadows. At first I wanted these characters to drink coffee in the morning, but this background, the brightness and the shadows didn't help. After many hours I thought "ok, they just like coffee, that's all". If the drawing had a morning background in the first place, it wouldn't be very complicated.

One of the reasons why the background is purple was because Twilight has blue hair and Tempest has magenta hair, so I thought a pruple tone would make the drawing interesting to watch. I'm practising with some colour tricks and I want to draw some afternoons. Or, at least, I have some afternoon drawings in mind with some shippings and some scenarios like a huge boat and an outdoor bed (that last one would work for a Twilestia drawing, at least as a experiment for the Twilestia comic I'm still working on).

Despite the problems, I had fun drawing Tempest Shadow. She's one of the reasons why I want to watch the MLP film.
