Considering the end of season 7 was a dragon destroying the wall, and we know how quickly the white walkers could get to Winterfell, I felt so annoyed watching John and Dany’s romantic dragon riding scene. It just felt so ridiculous when they’re preparing for a full-on onslaught. Like, it was already a shorter season but the pacing of it just makes everything so much more ridiculous.

Sansa definitely had a little nasty attitude with Khalessi, and it didn't go unnoticed.

Let’s not act like Sansa wasn’t mugging & being snarky with Daenerys. She came to help & was met with subtle hostility

I guess I'll start by saying that I really love season 1-3 of GoT and it's become kind of a meme in my friend group that the series never got picked back up after the end of season 3. We did do a rewatch together in 2018 of seasons 1-7 while we were waiting for season 8, because for some reason there was a year and a half gap between a short season and the start of a shorter season.
So, this is the first time I've watched season 8 since 2019, and unfortunately there wasn't any sort of gap between the end of season 7 and this episode. Holy shit, every piece of dialog felt like it was just the first draft, and no one wanted to give it a once over. There were some many parts of this episode where I said to myself "Man that was rough to hear" like it was just embarrassing.

I wish Kit Harington had the acting chemistry with Emilia Clarke that he has with Sophie Turner. Their scenes are always electric imo!
