If only that was all they did...

Aj

of all the sins Benioff and Weiss committed, I'll never forgive them for what they did to Euron Greyjoy

Jon Snow’s Mange

I love the little detail of Melisendre being cold. Remember she said that she's always warm because of the LoL. But when Ser Davos is speaking to her, she's wrapped in fur and in front of the fire. As if she's only as warm as she is faithful.

Just to clarify on the "life for a life" thing Maple was speculating about. that's not a part of it. The red priestess and priests aren't the same as the lady that was doing some sort of witchy black magic with the Dothraki. They are performing "miracles" through the lord of light. There's no rules like that because they are supposed to be just miracles.

Ohhhh yeah! Love all of your reactions. Watched them the past days since the beginning; first on youtube and now here.

Lalaland

Its not a spoiler for the show but my biggest wish is that they learn how Lady Stoneheart is.

Bany

I forgot this is the episode we met the most wasted character in the entire series.

Bany

It's so funny hearing Maple and Arianne theorize about Jon's resurrection and how it could work and what it could mean and everything they said is better than what we actually got.

Christophe

Maple asked where Rickon went, and the last thing they've show in the show, Bran told Osha to take Rickon to the Umbers. It's unknown where they are for sure.

Joshua Luzania

And that's why she just returned defeated to the first place where she was welcome without bias, where she could just stay and conteplate for days on end, where life isn't moving at speed. To me her action is logical.

Pabb

I spent the last 3 days getting caught up on the last 2 months. And thanks to Maple, I now have "I am Reek, always forever" stuck in my head every time I see Theon.

It's fun seeing how many little moments in the show (idk about the books) show how much JRR Tolkien inspired George. Whether it was Dany leaving the ring as proof that she was there and she was captured - like the Elven belt clasp that Merry and Pippen left, or when Theon almost directly quotes Samwise "I would have gone with you to the end." Or even how many characters in the show revolve so heavily around the grief that they have outlived their children like Theoden and Denethor - Baelon, Cersei, etc. Undoubtedly there are more moments but I'll end up spoiling on accident if I just start listing them at random.

Ludus Aurea

8:10 / 57:30 she's a child of the forest you've seen her like 20 times by now. Looks exactly the same as she did in 4 and 5. Anywho, glad that we're past Jon getting rezzed. Fantasy shows do not actually use this kind of OG DND stuff enough and never did. Thoros of Myr and Beric Dondarrion are probably two of the coolest characters in the show and their dynamic with Thoros being a priest and Beric basically being a paladin.

Ludus Aurea

We're so used to the Red Woman's manipulation that we didn't recognize that for two episodes she depressed because she lost her faith with Stannis' defeat. She truly believed she was talking to the Lord of Light, she believed everything she saw in the flames, and then it came all crashing down after she killed a little girl... and now she believes nothing. But at the same time we're suspicious that she's pretending.

Athasin

"He's gonna take it just like that." He pays the Iron price.

Athasin

Joffrey walked so Ramsey could run behind his dogs.

Jon snow = Lazarus!

Chris Bruneau

Non-spoiler for the show here, but... don't even get the book-reader folks started on Bran and what passes for cave food; some things are probably better left unanswered... :|

Joel Cook

I think the Red Woman was having a lack of faith due to her interpretations of the Lord of Light not being what she thought they were. When Stannis lost, she lost her faith.
