Love these reactions and both of the reactors... but I definitely feel like at least in this episode Adrianna is a bit more, *immersed* in some moments, while Maple just kinda, goes on lol.

I'm glad Autumn wasn't setting people on fire.

Season 3 will always be my favorite season but season 4 is a close second.

Season 4 is the best season of GOT.

It's tragic what happened between Jon Snow and Ygritte. However the silver lining is that their actors Kit Harington and Rose Leslie started dating each other during the show and have been married since like 2018. It's like the universe had to bend reality so those two could be together in another life.

yea, i always wished that line could've been in the show,... But trying to put it in dialogue would sound forced, since its not something that Tyrion would really say out loud...

Isn't that also the reason he goes to confront Tywin with the intent to kill?

A funny thing about Tywin's death from the books - there's a recurring line that people say throughout the series in reference to how wealthy the Lannisters are, it's "Tywin Lannister shits gold".
In the books when he gets hit by the second crossbow bolt, his bowels evacuate and the final line of the chapter is "Tywin Lannister did not, in the end, shit gold".

Ships are made the same way they’ve always been. Metal is used now just because it’s stronger. They’re built in drydock. Obviously we use engines now instead of wind and rowing. The show has s complete fire until the last 3 episodes. Season 7 gets a bad rap just because it’s shorter and season 8 was fine but the time jumps were “convenient “ for dumb people .

glad y'all enjoyed season 4!
for some book vs show adaptation notes for those last scenes with tyrion: when jaime frees tyrion he also confesses that tywin made him lie to tyrion all those years ago about the woman tyrion married (tysha, from the story he tells bronn and shae) being a whore, and that she really had been a commoner who'd genuinely loved him. tyrion decides that's when to tell jamie about how cersei's been banging lancel and half the kingsguard (true), and that he DID kill joffrey (oof). some missing oof for where both those characters go that it would've been interesting to see included.

the complete betrayal of Tyrion by Shae is devastating--and when he kills her for it, you literally feel his pain!
It makes his next act (killing Tywin) seem completely justified. Its one of the most satisfying moments of the series so far...

I think Stannis like 4 episodes back was in Bravvos gettin ships and money, then those ships picked up his horses and men (Im not sure where they stay probably on the coast somewhere), then took them up to East Watch, then they rode along the wall to Castle Black. Bravvos is pretty far north. It's not as crazy as some stuff that happens since Stannis was missing for a lot of episodes.

Stannis used ships to get north of the wall. They got a loan from the Iron Bank of Braavos to buy contracts for sellswords and ships. If you look at a map, Braavos isn't that far from The Wall.
White Walkers are the mythical beings we've seen on occasion, with the icy white skin.
Wights are reanimated corpses, so basically zombies. The skeletons we saw attacking Bran are wights.
