Woah, all good points! Helly was being tackled to the ground mid speech last season, the first we see of her this episode, she's panting running out of the elevator, but not stumbling. It still doesn't necessarily mean that she's unsevered, just that at some point in the months (if that is even true) they took her down there first and told her not to trust the others with her outtie identity. So much to find out!

Oh, this is gonna be fun! You both tossed thoughts and ideas out there that never even crossed my mind when I watched it on Friday. This is why I like watching along with you! Miss Huang could be Ms. Casey and Mark S. child, or she could be a clone of just Ms. Casey, or not connected in any way.
There's no way Ms. Cobel is just out of this series. Patricia Arquette's performance was too good. I'm not even sure she isn't still with Lumon. She's the one that knew Mark's innie was out before anyone else. She alarmed Milchick, drove insanely to the gala, and confronted Helly. They might have taken her back and maybe even put her on the board for all of that. Or, it could be my mom's theory that she's going to join the resistance on the outside, spill Lumon secrets and try to reintegrate people. Or neither, she's just gone.
And we haven't even gotten to the goats, or what the numbers are, and what happened to the outties in an unknown span of time?
This is what makes this show so good. It's not 'either this or that', it's any number of possibilities, and if some are right it doesn't mean all others are wrong., but they could all be wrong, I will be looking for more water symbology, though!

Yeah I was thinking there's something off about her, she seemed more adult than the impression you get from her face, but I figured that was just the acting or something. The height thing makes sense, I didn't even think of that. GREAT casting so far as she definitely makes me feel uneasy, but I also get the impression she is more under Lumon's thumb than Cobel, Milchick, or Graner, so I'm a bit worried for her too.

That actually explains something that kept occurring to me. There were several times in the episode, where I kept wondering whether that actor was a particularly tall child, or if several members of the cast were actually really short.

"Helly" wasn't in the middle of her speech when she came up the elevator (like the way Irv was in the middle of calling for Burt), she pointed out twice that there were no speakers or cameras and was asking a bunch of questions to get people to talk, and she was feeling around for the switch to her computer as though she wasn't used to turning it on. That's NOT our Helly!

I'm going to put my original first thought here, as I'm worried it's too spoiler-y for the top of the comment section, but I agree that Helly is most likely her outie. However, I'm suspicious of how obvious the show is making it, which makes me think/hope there is something more complicated at play here. This show is too smart to have that be the extent of the twist with Helly.

--Don't read this, if you haven't watched the episode yet--
I'm trying not to go too far down the rabbit hole on fan theories (between lost and GoT I can't keep doing that to myself), but one theory I do like is that Mark might already be reintegrated by the start of this episode. I don't fully subscribe to it, but it could be a neat twist to everything we've seen this episode.
Also, not really a theory, but I couldn't help but notice how quickly Dylan, Irv, and Helly came out of the elevator, one after the other. Their arrivals couldn't have been staggered. I think we're going to learn very soon that there is a whole lot more fuckery going on in the outie side of things. And, I cannot wait.

Also, this is the first time I've noticed all the water motifs, thanks to Maple. There were 3 or 4 in this episode alone. Very interesting, but I'm not sure what it means at all.

I almost fell out of my chair when I heard the actress for Miss Huang is 18 😂
