The issue with the discussion around Rebecca and Sam stuff is twofold. One, guys absolutely do get shit on for dating younger women. DiCaprio for instance has literally been crapped on by thousands (probably millions of people for it). Two, the moral issue here is that she is his boss and them having relationship invites the potential for a lot of bad stuff to happen in the workplace. So while I don't personally care about age gaps all that much (within reason), I do think there relationship has issues elsewhere and that it is a fallacy that guys don't get heavily criticised for dating younger women.

Arson Stays Up Too Late Watching Video Tapes
2024-10-06 07:10:36 +0000 UTCI think aarswft is expressing their disappointment in the timing of the commentary being given and suggesting to perhaps, save the larger & more complex observations for the end of the episode. It may benefit aarswft to understand that, It is difficult for a reactor to time their commentary so that it does not run over some of the more sentimental scenes as, they have not seen the episode before. As well to trust that, Maple and Arianna are aware of this and try to time their commentary so as not to be in collision with the quiet subtle part of the episodes.

2024-10-06 07:07:03 +0000 UTCIt's funny you say they talk too much because sometimes I think they don't talk enough lol. I'm so used to tons of reactors talking so much throughout that they miss good/important stuff, so actually it's quite refreshing to see Ariana and Maple not do that.

2024-10-02 07:30:43 +0000 UTCI love this episode so much. I especially love the way they portrayed that moment between Jamie and his father. A lesser TV show might have portrayed it as a triumph, as the abused son overcoming his dickish father by punching him in the face, in essence showing dominance and becoming the alpha or whatever. But instead, they portrayed it as a tragedy that a son feels the need to punch his father, the fact that this is who Jamie grew up with and had as a male role model. So much of this show is about rethinking masculinity. Roy coming in to hug Jamie was just the icing on the cake because Roy is often the "strong, silent type" and him embracing Jamie and Jamie breaking down in tears because of the sad thing that just happened and both of them letting go of the macho type of "resilience" that is typically expected of men, urgh, I love it so much.

2024-09-29 00:26:13 +0000 UTCLike, why do the naysayers feel the need to spread the negativity on a forum where we literally PAY FOR THE COMMENTARY?! Quite literally, read the (chat) room. This ain't an airport, you don't need to announce your departure, and you definitely don't need to tell us why you want to spend money elsewhere when we're content with the content we receive for what we pay. If you had a real, sustainable suggestion that could carry forth in ALL the reactions, instead of sarcastically suggesting credits are the only opportunity, I could go with it, but I want authentic, in the moment, reactions, not watch someone struggle to remember beat-by-beat every relevant thought they had as a recap after the fact. As they suggested, if you want the original artistic portrayal, by all means watch the episode standalone. If, however, you've seen the episode, as most patrons have, and want to see a *reaction* to said episode outside of your own interpretations (y'know, the thing you pay for), then I don't understand the complaint when that's presumably exactly what you wanted when you agreed to the terms and submitted payment. And if it isn't for you, why try and infect the people who are happy with their content, how it's presented, and researched enough to know what they were signing up for when they decided they wanted to watch this specific reaction content? YouTube has literally hundreds of examples of what you were getting into.

2024-09-28 10:17:18 +0000 UTCI don't know if you've picked up on this or not yet, but one of the main focal points of this whole series is relationships between fathers and sons. Specifically in the past two episodes, we've seen Jamie's estranged relationship with his father, Sam's warm and nurturing relationship with his father, Nate's desperate longing for approval from his father, and Ted trying to come to terms with the suicide of his father when he was just a kid. The theme doesn't end in this episode, but that's all I'll say about that.

2024-09-28 09:25:29 +0000 UTCI am not precious or snobby. Ariana and Mable said that people in the comments complaining because they have not that knowledge about football/soccer and i only thought about that, when they called it football instead of soccer, that 50%-70% of that bullshit goes away.

2024-09-28 05:32:30 +0000 UTCDang, this episode hit hard. My dad’s been psychologically and verbally abusive to my family all my life. Earlier tonight I was finally brave enough to tell my mom that this can’t continue and that she needs to leave him. And that we’re going to be okay. Weird timing I guess that it’d be the day I watched this episode with you guys. It was a pleasure watching, thank you.

2024-09-28 03:39:40 +0000 UTCOh man, I definitely wept when I first saw this episode. And still makes me tear up. It's like they tee you up with Roy hugging Jamie, then the gut punch of finding out about Ted's dad. Bill Lawrence has a way with making really funny shows that can whip you around and have you in tears before you know it. I remember plenty of Scrubs episodes that brought on the waterworks.

2024-09-28 02:17:33 +0000 UTCI know I, for one, love when the reaction channels I watch just have people sitting there in silence for 45 minutes not actually reacting to anything they're seeing.

2024-09-28 00:01:47 +0000 UTCAnd a reminder to everyone: the term "soccer" originated in the UK. So let's not try to be too precious about that shit.

2024-09-27 23:15:02 +0000 UTCAs someone who played soccer through college. I never once called it football. So maybe you're doing it wrong :)

2024-09-27 23:11:20 +0000 UTCWell, it's called Soccer in America which is where these girls are, and Maple even played it (and maybe Ariana too? I can't remember), so of course they are going to call it what they know it by. If that's your biggest gripe, maybe don't watch. It's that simple.

2024-09-27 20:08:34 +0000 UTCHmm I think what you’re looking for then is a payment to Apple TV if you’re just wanting the show 😇 this is patreon for Diegesis which entails Arianna and Maple - if you were confused the video has no other sound except them talking!!! Hope that helps ❤️

2024-09-27 18:44:10 +0000 UTCFirst great Reaction, to in my Opinion one of the best Episodes of this Serie. I don't care if you have no clue of the Sport or the references, football jokes their are made or some of the real Pundits, Players and Referees they have cameos, but please don't call it soccer, call it football like the rest of the world.

2024-09-27 17:57:34 +0000 UTCAh nothing like another edit/writing hook by mentioning that Roy's sister is an emergency room doctor, right after introducing an emergency room doctor who looks like a female version of Roy!

2024-09-27 17:16:20 +0000 UTCI was really excited when they started this show, but there's no way I can handle the chatter through something as powerful as episode 10. Have to call it quits here unfortunately. If only they build in like 5 min at the end of every episode where nothing happened but music and text and you had an opportunity to share all the wild stories you feel compelled to tell.
