2024-09-27 22:16:46 +0000 UTCYeah, I'd thought about trying to start a YouTube channel a few years ago, either for reactions or short-form factual comedy stuff (I do some writing and editing for a few sites/channels that do something similar), but I started thinking about the comments sections and figured that my skin is far too thin to survive it. It was bad enough when I used to do some freelance comedy writing for a few websites and went into the comments sections on my articles.

Sadly, It really seems to be widespread nowadays. when I was a young child, my Grandfather gave me sage advice: "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all." its a pretty simple rule for life and has worked for me for 50 years
