I know Maple said she loved Nell's dress, but to me its giving early 90's sofa.

2025-09-03 00:26:31 +0000 UTCI rewatch this show every year around Halloween time. It has become my favorite fantasy/horror series. I joined your patreon just because of this and shall continue to subscribe. This episode is my favorite until the last episode.

2024-09-20 05:53:34 +0000 UTCSorry but while Steve is definitely a jerk, he was right about her doing that at his meeting was wrong. If you were having issues with a family member, you'd have absolutely no problem with the showing up at your job and screaming at you or attacking you? seriously?

2024-09-20 00:56:10 +0000 UTCWhen this was revealed, it fucked me up for days. I couldn't stop thinking about it even as I continued to watch the rest of the show. Also, I never see this mentioned, but if you go back and pay attention to young Nellie, any time she tells someone about seeing The Bent Neck Lady, her head is tilted to the right. I have no idea it was intentional to be foreshadowing. I've never seen Mike Flanagan talk about it nor Victoria Pedretti, but it's something I picked up on my first rewatch, and it blew my mind.

2024-09-19 18:49:35 +0000 UTCI vowed to never put myself through this watch again but it's a lot easier with y'all and I can better enjoy the creative genius behind it all. Even though I continue to cry through every episode. Nell's dance with her husband to that song is beautifully horrific.

2024-09-17 22:26:37 +0000 UTCIt's ridiculous that Netflix let Mike Flanagan down and cancelled his latest TV Series. This director-writer is super good, IMHO.

2024-09-17 22:09:11 +0000 UTCSuch a perfect metaphor for how Nelly's suicide was the culmination of many things throughout her life and it loomed over her like a ghost.

2024-09-17 07:30:21 +0000 UTCI can't say it enough, I love this freaking show. What an episode. Also, having sleep paralysis sucks! lol

2024-09-17 01:31:44 +0000 UTCthe repeated sound of Nell's neck breaking really drove home the brutal horror of this show. Goddam, Mike Flanagan knows how to scare people!!!

2024-09-17 00:47:32 +0000 UTCI feel you. I suffered from sleep paralysis when I was a kid. I would regularly see the shadow people and The Hat Man specifically. He would stand in the doorway to our hallway bathroom silhouetted by the night light. He was tall with an overcoat and a wide brimmed hat. His face was always obscured by shadow. All he would do was stand there and stare at me, but it was the most terrifying thing I can ever remember happening to me.

2024-09-16 23:36:47 +0000 UTCFun bit of trivia: Russ Tamblyn, the actor playing Dr. Montague, played the original “Luke” in the 1963 adaptation. He also played “Dr. Jacoby”, Laura Palmer’s less than stellar psychiatrist, on “Twin Peaks” (for all you Gen X-ers and “Oregon Trail” kids).

2024-09-16 23:04:36 +0000 UTCsleep paralysis is terrifying. When it happens to me, my room is always filled with a red light, or the red light is glowing from the next room. Sometimes I hear what sounds like footsteps rushing from the hallway into my room. I've seen the shadow people that most people with sleep paralysis report too.

2024-09-16 22:52:39 +0000 UTCArianna looked on the verge of tears from the very moment we started seeing nice things lol exactly how I felt too, especially because you know where Nell ends up.
