I lived there for 11 years not long ago. Took the bus into town once .. it was lightly snowing. Maybe 1/2 inch, if that. The buses shut down due to snow and I had no way home 😂! I’m a Michigan girl .. we’d have a foot of snow and the school bus still came.

Hey, I get that it can be frustrating when content you’re excited for doesn’t show up as fast as you’d like, but I just want to give you some context. Jess has been working really hard to get the next set of Ted Lasso episodes ready—they’re actually in the process of getting past copyright as we speak. She’s already completed nearly all of Season 1, so there’s plenty of Ted Lasso to binge while we wait for the next drop! Content creation, especially with the hurdles of copyright, takes time and effort. We’re passionate about what we do and share it as a hobby and creative outlet. Yeah it's unfortunate. I was subbing solely for the Ted Lasso early access and it basically hasn't gone up once in the time I've been subbed. But what are you gonna do? That's on me. Everyone just has to weigh what's worth it and what isn't.

Ah yes, can't believe I forgot how fun YouTube is with copyright. Apologies for not taking that and the number of projects editors tend to work on. It's always very appreciated the amount of work the editors do and the time it takes for setting up and filming your videos that you both do.

Yes of course our editors work on multiple projects at a time and tend to batch edit :) they also have to get the early access to pass youtube copyright standards so that can also cause some delays at times while the videos are re-edited and re-uplaoded a butt ton of times!

Just curious, is there still gonna be early access edited videos for this show? I haven't seen one since August 30th.

Nah in the uk and ireland it doesnt really snow that much at christmas and you only get a maybe a week of snow per year depending on where you are. Most of the year is mild between like 50°F and 80°F, the south of england has a couple of hot weeks a year around 90-95°F but no extreme weather, no earthquakes etc

Woo! Hannah Waddingham has such a killer voice! And y'all definitely gotta do "It's a Wonderful Life" this year. I didn't see it for the first time til a few years ago and it made me wish I hadn't waited so long to finally watch it. Immediately added it to my yearly list of Christmas movies.

They're standalone to the extent that you could watch the entire season without them and not be lost in the storyline. You could skip from Episode 3 to Episode 5 without feeling like you missed anything important. Agree that they do add nuance to the characters, but they don't really have anything to do with the overall story arc or plotlines of the season. They released this episode on August 13, 2021, but they could have run the season without it and then released this episode as a one-off Christmas special in December, and nobody would have noticed the difference.

Haven't started the reaction yet, but just in case you're not aware: season two has two standalone episodes, because they'd already written a full 10 episode season and then the show blew up and Apple asked them to go back and make two more. So rather than messing with the story they'd already crafted, they made two bottle episodes that wouldn't impact anything. This is, of course, one of those two episodes.
