📕 F1 Book Club: Distilling F1's complexities in The Grand Prix Year

Earlier this year, F1 journalist Phillip Horton released his first book, entitled The Grand Prix Year: An insider's guide to Formula 1 racing, and on the latest episode of F1 Book Club, exclusively for members, he joins Edd Straw to discuss it.

Billed as taking readers 'to spectacular locations across the world' and of providing 'an up-close-and-personal insight into the world and workings of Formula One', Phillip explains why he was moved to write the book.

He also discusses how he went about trying to explain the enormity and complexity of a sport that encompasses so much more than 24 races a year, much of which isn't seen by fans.

'The Grand Prix Year: An insider's guide to Formula 1 racing' is published by Bloomsbury

as a former professional tennis player, albeit majority challenger circuit, there are *some* other sports that have a similar travel schedule for the athletes and media - but moving 5000kg of equipment around and building accommodation is certainly unique.
