2024-11-10 02:11:23 +0000 UTCThis was an absolute pleasure. I ain't trying to sound like ass kisser (🤔) but this is now my favorite GOT reaction (And I've seen this like 30 something times now, most of which were full length episodes on Patreon. I've watched many other beautiful women watch this but with you guys it's the note taking, asking questions, reading the comments and soon watching the lore videos after each season. Your understanding vastly more than I did my first time watching it lol. Love u guys, on to the next.

2024-08-26 04:56:35 +0000 UTCThe bath scene with the blonde weasel amd Dariah is one of my least favorite in the show. Idk how the Dothraki have resisted the urge to bash his skull in already lol. I wanna punch his face lol.

2024-08-26 03:31:49 +0000 UTCI think one of the things you should note, these characters are shades of grays. You should take somethings as sincere

2024-08-26 00:33:59 +0000 UTCIdk if this counts as spoilers: • • • • • • • • • • but Gendry is NOT Cersei’s child, that story she told to Cat is a show only conversation and there’s no other evidence to show that kid even existed, so a lot of fans, myself included, think Cersei just lied about that first son. It’s literally NEVER mentioned again, but Ned’s suspicions are onto something. Hope that’s not too much.

2024-08-23 01:05:50 +0000 UTCJust to clarify a few things, because I feel like you guys are getting so focused on writing stuff down to not miss any detail, that you get distracted and miss some details. In episode one, Robert already talked about his love for Ned's sister Lyanna, and his hatred for Targaryens because of what the Targaryens did to her, as well as his desire to kill them all. In episode two, Robert talks about how what Rhaegar Targaryen did to Neds sister, the woman he loved, was unforgivable, and again states his intention to kill every Targaryen he can get his hands on. You get more of what happened in a couple of episodes. I honestly wouldn't be too concerned with writing things down, it may actually cause more confusion than anything else because the context of who is telling the story is often more important than the story itself. You could find yourself writing down a name and obsessing over that name for 5 seasons, only to find out the character lied.

2024-08-21 01:51:59 +0000 UTCRight, muscle memory indeed. For many of us, it was the other way - when he showed up in John Wick, one was like - hey is that Theon- this can't be good.

2024-08-20 14:25:47 +0000 UTCHOLY FUCK, I did not realize that!! Maybe that’s why I disliked him from jump in the first episode!!! Muscle memory!!!

2024-08-20 12:41:18 +0000 UTCIf yall remember, that night's watch guy that is terrible that you hate was a prisoner forced to the wall because he was a raper who chose the wall over castration. So yeah, he's not a good guy.

2024-08-20 01:45:24 +0000 UTCYeah, rate the characters on how much you like them, and we'll see if it changes as the show progresses.

2024-08-20 01:29:27 +0000 UTCLove your reactions and how you so getting into the show. Not sure if you realize (or if already commented) but the actor who plays Theon Greyjoy is the same actor who played the mobster's son in John Wick 1.

2024-08-19 23:23:16 +0000 UTCmake sure you guys watch the histories and lore videos after each season. They give you a ton of context for all the exposition/lore drops you get in each episode.

2024-08-19 22:39:50 +0000 UTCOne note on knighthood and religion in GoT because they don't make it very clear in the show. Generally, knighthood is associated with the Faith of the Seven, which is the religion predominantly found in the South, like around King's Landing, but also where Ned's wife Catelyn is originally from. The Faith of the Seven is the "new gods" that are referenced when people say things like "I swear it by the old gods and the new". Catelyn mentioned a couple times feeling like an outsider in the North, particularly around the weirwoods (those big white-bark, red-leaf trees) which are holy to the Faith of the Old Gods which is what Ned and most Northerners follow. The Faith of the Seven is basically Medieval Catholicism while the old gods are a sort of paegan, nature and tree worshipping religion. Now, as I said, knighthood and associated chivalry is linked to the Faith of the Seven (knights are anointed in a religious ceremony) which is why there are very few Northern knights. Ned mentions knights teeming down in the Capital and talks about their arrogance; Northerners mostly view knighthood as a useless honour that inflates people's ego but that doesn't make a difference to a person's valour in battle (which is true enough). Jorah Mormont (Daenerys' companion) is a rare exception, he's a knight even though he's from the North originally (which is why Ned was the one that banished him, Ned was his overlord) and he was raised under the old gods. The story of why he's nevertheless a knight is part of his interesting backstory, yet to be completely revealed ;-) though do take note about what he said about his "expensive wife" that is now in another place, with another man.
