We also finished the series tonight 😱 (You'll see them posted after they finish processing!) - BUT.... OH. MY. GOSH. We had a Breaking bad packed day today... which was honestly the best way to finish this all out 💙

A key difference is because Vince was actually less involved and the show was primarily crafted by BB writer Peter Gould. Imo, the difference in creative direction led to BCS being more of an unconventional legal drama while BB was mostly a crime drama/thriller. Either way, I definitely understand your sentiment.

I hate Better Call Saul and find it terminally boring (every time I mention this on the internet I'm informed by helpful commentators that I'm too stupid to appreciate the clockwork storytelling genius of Vince Gilligan. I guess I am.) BCS basically slows down to a stop at one point, then they have to frantically rush in the last season to tie everything together with the start of Breaking Bad, all with actors who are now 14 years older.
