Wow I know yall don’t like grace but the reaction to her getting killed was wild. Yall get to wrapped up into hating characters so much sometimes it just completely takes away from how yall watch/view shows you are watching.

2024-07-06 22:21:46 +0000 UTCYou guys think/talk about May more than Tommy or the show ever did/does. Tommy never cared for May, she was a 1 night stand.

2024-07-05 03:31:55 +0000 UTCBut has maple seen the show? I'd be down to watch a game of thrones reaction series. Although it's very very long lol

2024-07-04 22:17:17 +0000 UTCNo, Tommy didn't love May...not even close. When he said he would find her, it was because he thought Grace was sailing away. May was always a situationship. Tommy was talking about Grace when he was in that grave at the end of season 2, and that's why when he immediately got back to the office and was talking to Michael, he said "I plan on getting married". He came so close to death and decided when he was given a second chance (actually third chance) at life, he wasn't going to waste it on May. If you think back to episode 5 after he slept with Grace, he went to May to call things off (because he loved Grace). Even though she was "sailing off" and married, his heart was still with her and he felt a sense of loyalty to her. May is the one that kept the situationship going, by saying she didn't care.

2024-07-04 21:50:04 +0000 UTCWhat does family loyalty have to do with Grace, she betrayed them in season 1. The bottom line is, Tommy only ever loved Grace, he never loved May, that's why he married her.

2024-07-04 21:41:38 +0000 UTCHa Ha, you guys really need to wonder out of the May haze, she is not the one. Tommy never loved her, so she was never going to be Mrs. Shelby.

2024-07-04 21:39:59 +0000 UTCThanks for the reaction! Really good debrief at the end too. I think the choice to marry Grace is from the family loyalty of the Peaky Blinders. Family is everything. I think is ingrained from the customs of being Gypsy's. Tradition. May all the way.

2024-07-04 11:26:45 +0000 UTCWhen I first saw Paddy in this role years ago, and then saw him cast as Viserys Targaryen, I knew he was gonna knock it out of the park with that role, still a tragedy he never got any recognition for HotD the last 2 years.

2024-07-04 00:01:45 +0000 UTCHell nah tommy and may talking about finding each other after the derby and even kissing, and then talking with grace she mentions shes pregnant and tommy tells her "make him believe its his" and even grace tells tommy "i love you" and he says nothing hes still just worried about his mission

2024-07-03 23:57:47 +0000 UTCIt's so simple and y'all are making it complicated. May was Tommy's equal in a sense, she didn't need to be nurtured or cared for but I think that's what Tommy wanted to provide. He loved Grace obviously but for him Grace is his peace in all the shit storm. No doubt May could have provided that too but that isn't the relationship him and May had. When Grace goes off and marries someone else, in his mind that is HIS girl, he was going to get her back no matter what. When she comes back to see him, He wanted to know if she still felt the same way. She did and there was ZERO way where he was going to make the mistake of letting her leave again. Sorry May but it was never ever ever a competition. When Tommy is about to DIE!!! He says, "and there was a girl". Grace guys, not May lol May wasn't even a thought in his mind in that moment.

2024-07-03 19:25:18 +0000 UTCI found the concept of John wiling out on account of his lack of choice of love incredibly intuitive. Maple +1 points; I always took it as a gang or racial thing but that surgical dissection of his subconscious motivation caught me completely off guard. Thank you.
