omg i love this show. First thing first, I don't even know the name of the main character five episodes in. Also one of my favorite things about British humor is that everyone is a loser. Claire is ultra successful in her business life but she suffers in her social life. Unnamed protagonist is great at getting laid but struggles in every other part of her life. Their father is obviously successful but is unable to connect with his family. It all just comes together to make a you laugh and cry so easily.

Very small and contained, just people sitting in a room, and talking, and all the social tensions playing out just beneath the surface because of the over-the-top English politeness and indirectness in social situations. Peak cringe humour.
