Each new episode will have a specific character focus while moving the plot forward as well. This episode is a Coulson episode. Coulson in the movies was more by the book and serious though he did have some funny moments. Here he has calmed down and she noticed that. But she seemed to also notice something else as well about him that she did not tell may. Akema is like bucky but it is so hard to tell what someone did on their own vs because they were forced to all you can do is find the ones who really did it to clear her name.
