Tbf the druids are not striking first at all, Alvarr said he has been hunted by Uther since he was a kid, so they're just reacting to what Uther is doing, i too wish that almost kiss wasn't there, it cheapens the story & makes Morgan's action seem about a fling than a strong belief in a cause which is not true, she has always believed Uther was wrong to execute people for having magic, she believes in freedom & safety for all, it also makes Alvarr look evil for no reason, he didn't need to trick Morgana was acting like he likes her, she was already on board but i guess we already had an episode with Morgana meeting good druids who took care of Mordred and she felt like she finally belonged somewhere before Arthur & the knights killed them & Mordred escaped, poor Mordred keeps losing every family he ever has, this is the third time Uther/Arthur kill someone he loved, this all could've been avoided had Merlin shared his secret with Morgana, you said to Morgana you have Merlin but she doesn't know he's like her! She doesn't know he gets it, he knows she has magic but she doesn't, Morgana just said here that she just doesn't wanna be alone anymore! If she had Merlin none of this would've happened & in 2x09 lady of the lake after Freya died Merlin said to Gaius you'd never understand how it's like to be afraid of who you are, Gaius may not understand but you know who would? Morgana! It's so hard to see Merlin & Arthur as heroes here, Arthur has been killing druids in Uther's name for years & doesn't seem to have a problem with it & Merlin literally was trying to get Mordred (a child!!!) Killed this episode? Did he really have to antagonize Mordred? I know he's doing it out of love/fear for Arthur but how far are you willing to go & how much of the future is "fate" & how much is just repercussions of our bad decisions? In shorts i agree with/feel for Morgana having to live with Uther, i know what it's like to hide part of yourself because of a religious & a conservative father, to have to pretend all the time, to fake a smile listening to their hate speech rants, it feels so shitty, so much so that you sometimes wonder if your life would be easier if they weren't there, it's dark & you hate yourself for wondering it but you can't help it, even if you have some love for them, anyway, this got needlessly personal lol, anyway, team Morgana all the way, Uther is gotta go, that dragon gave some pretty terrible "advices" before like kill a kid (Mordred) & antagonize the witch (Morgana), etc & i worry about Merlin just blindly following his "advices", is it a self fulfilling prophecy?
