2024-03-05 01:09:49 +0000 UTCI think its interesting how TLoK explores the consequences of a few decisions Aang and Zuko made after the original series. e.g Kuvira believes Republic City is built on stolen land because Aang and Zuko took a small bit of the Earth Kingdom to build their new city. Or the equalist stuff from S1, which stems from (in part) almost all the major power roles being taken by benders for 50+ years. Aang ended the war and built a great new world but didn't live long enough to complete the project. It's realistic. I'm most excited about any new animated series that takes place after Korra, I would LOVE to jump ahead 30/40 years and see what a "1970s" era Avatar world looks like. What does computing + globalisation mean for society? How about the widespread use of plastics, can synthetic materials be bent? I hope the new studio makes a show like that.
