Even though I voted for Highlander on the poll, I'm actually happy with two episodes a month. Being more episodic, it's kind of a perfect show to watch at a slower pace. Like other fans, I'm excited to get to the "great" stuff but I'm just as excited by the possibility of many more months of 2 highlander reactions to look forward too. onto this reaction: "he was insufferable before he knew what he was" 🤣 How do different people make meaning out of coming back from the dead and being immortal? Duncan's family/village saw him as demonic. Alfred interprets it as a justification of his dad's violent/fanatical religious views and gets delusions of a mission. He was already psychologically unbalanced and violent but being reborn really sent him into a full blown psychosis. If it wasn't so scary and murderous; it'd be very sad. sex work is rarely portrayed in media with much sympathy or realism. This wasn't without flaws but overall, I thought it was an ok attempt. Duncan's so hopeful of most people he meets: helping Elaine see she can change her life if she wants to but failing to get through to Alfred despite trying multiple times Agree, Tessa is a freaking genius in adapting and dealing with Alfred. She literally talked him out of killing her. Missed Richie this episode. Duncan lying down on his stomach using the laptop while Tessa's siting on the couch: they look so comfortable in domestic bliss you'd never guess their lives include so much violence Elaine's apartment, with the sky roof and that BALCONY... almost good enough to die/kill for (jk)

2022-09-01 05:18:06 +0000 UTCAdrian Paul always had that cool suave look that ruled the 90’s. Add to the fact that his fight scenes were always realistic yet smooth made it look like he has been doing it for 400 years. This has always been a fun show for me.
