This is such a great episode I was excited to see your guys reaction to the Kuvira/Su backstory. I actually wanted you guys to bring up the whole “Kuvira looks like Mako” here. Often times characters are animated in consistently but I don’t think she looks like Mako and episode really shows it. I love the development with Bolin and Varrick. Some people say I’m silly but I was actually worried that they were going to go for a another “civil wars” type vibe and have Bolin on the “ villain” side and have team avatar divided and have Varrick revert back to a villain. Would’ve been horrible for the show so glad they didn’t. Great reaction guys!

2024-02-14 00:01:05 +0000 UTCFun stylistic choice they made with this show was animating all of the "technology" / industrial era type things like the mechs and vehicles with CG while keeping the vast majority of everything else hand drawn.
