I do feel bad for Branson when Sybil leaves. I get why she goes back, but from his perspective he has been waiting for her for a long time already, now she's finally with him and he's so happy, only for it to be undermined at the last minute. As I say, I understand why she chose to go back, and I blame the circumstances (and kinda other members of the family) rather than Sybil herself (who is doing nothing wrong imo and who I love), but he really is being made to wait and wait and wait and put his own dreams on hold while she figures out hers.
