Harriman Grey was played by Jeffrey Combs, who has been in a *sh*tload* of movies and shows (mostly horror and sci-fi) since 1981. He is best known for Re-Animator and as several (NINE! mostly alien) characters in the Star Trek franchise - The Vorta Weyoun, the Ferengi Brunt, and the Andorian Schran being the most often portrayed. As Mr. Grey, he really did save Sinclair's bacon!

He is such a great, compassionate, intelligent and strong leader indeed and I'm glad you love him. Great performance by Michael O'Hare too. The power in him in particular with the lines "Maybe its crazy to think that Earthforce still respects honour, freedom and human dignity when a maggot like you can spit on some of the best officers I've ever served with" and "I faced death on the Line" give me chills.
