Good to see you back with more X-Files. This might sound weird, but I actually have a condition where I can't see an item that is right in front of me. It's called Inattentional Blindness and it happens to me several times every day. It's caused by a brain injury. It's to do with attention and how the brain processes things, rather than anything physical to do with the eyes. BTW, I found the sound on the episode itself really, 'burbly,' like it was coming from underwater. I don't think it was a problem on my side. Thought I would just pass that on. 👽👍
2022-05-16 20:32:32 +0000 UTCThere'll always be a poignancy in any episode that features veterans and the sad truth is there are still many POWs still out there and imprisoned that nobody will do anything about - largely because of political and financial reasons. I do think this is a rather effective and underrated episode from a season that I generally consider one of the weakest in the series. There were definitely some production upheavals too behind the scenes in this season as Chris Carter was devoting more attention to his new show Millennium and Glen Morgan and James Wong were picking up a lot of the slack.
