That’s so interesting that you mention this episode and the Rugaru one give you a similar feeling. I feel the same, Both episodes bother me and I associate them together in my head. I mentioned in my comment earlier that I don’t really like this one though I can’t pinpoint exactly why.

It's just always bothered me. I don't really know why. It's like the Rugaru episode. Similar experience for me. This monster didn't seem to be very similar to the con worm from before. That one didn't cause a lot of thirst, so I don't think dehydration would have been effective. Electrocution was the way to get that one. And Rufus didn't die due to electrocution. Bobby killed him - well, the monster in Bobby killed him. And I don't think dehydration will work for the Mark of Cain either. It's not that sort of thing.
