I will never understand people who are so toxic, and attention starved that they would be so unkind to people they claim to love. I find the fans here on Shelley's channel respectful and engaging. We discuss the plots and the characters, and everyone is interesting and kind. Not so much YouTube and Twitter is a cease pool. Danneel and Gen are beautiful strong awesome women. As a fan I always love seeing glimpses into their lives. I seeing these guys talk about family. What a great video.

She’s a lovely person, and I think the hate she’s always gotten has been due to jealousy; over her looks, over her relationship, over the fact that “the studio makes the boys have wives to cover up the fact that Jared and Jensen (or Misha and Jensen) are secretly in love and together”, it’s so sad that she’s had to deal with so much crazy.

Thankfully since you aren't on SPN social media, you haven't come across the blogs that are entirely dedicated to hating on Danneel. Truly vicious, vicious people, so it's great that fans occasionally do something extra special to show them love and kindness from the fandom.

A lot of people will hate on Danneel (and Vicky got it too from what I know, though not as much as I'm pretty sure she stayed out of the spotlight a lot...) because they think she's keeping Jensen and Misha apart. Gen also gets it from people who think they're keeping J2 apart. Which is obviously not true as they all love each other, but not in that way... Some people are just delusional...

2022-03-18 16:37:38 +0000 UTCLovely couple - I think they both lucked out in finding each other. I had not seen the BTS from Ten Inch Hero so it was nice to see. My favourite moment is their 10 year Anniversary re-enactment of a music video - pure gold! The majority of the SPN fandom are fab and enjoy the show and the actors and stay away from the drama. As with any fandom there are small LOUD toxic factions who constantly fight with each other. 9 times out of 10 it is over nothing or they have twisted words that someone has said to cause drama. I say this as 40+ female but the majority of the toxicity imo comes from older educated females who only seem happy when they tweet out negative energy and considering they are educated the crap they spew - OMG! I think both Danneel and Gen are sweethearts and as far as I know they have done nothing wrong. I think the hate comes from a place of jealously. Since I stopped using Twitter fandom life is much more enjoyable!
