My wife and I watched this at the theatre in 06, but it still extremally entertaining. the pushy Dad struck home for me, cuz me Dad was exactly that way " getall As or you're a loser!"--its weird how movies make you think about your own personal crap! (sorry for rant)

2023-08-31 02:26:18 +0000 UTCI had a different reading of the tattooed dude in the audience. He was sitting looking bored with earplugs in, and when he said "First time?" I assumed he was an experienced pageant dad, who was sick of the scene, and when he cheers at the end it was because she did something different. Was I too naive? It wasn't until I watched other reactions to this movie that I learned other people read that as him being a p*do. EDIT: OH! Y'all talked about it at the end.
