And listening to people confirm what we already know about these guys just warms the heart. We all got to watch it with her for the first time too so that was so much fun.

I have been following these guys for a long time now and it is so telling that I have not heard one bad word against them from any of the cast and crew. I cannot remember where I read it but a few years ago a crew member from another Vancouver production, who had a bad experience said he really wanted to work on the SPN set because everyone is just so happy in their job. On the songs Jensen has said before they released Volume 2 that Let Me Be is his favourite to sing and that Drowning is the most difficult to sing. Drowning is my fav.

But I think his bashfulness and shyness is still going pretty strong for him when it comes to writing music, because I think he doubts himself a lot. And then, writing (any kind) is so personal so it can feel a little vulnerable. He's probably just protecting himself a bit.

And yeah, I agree - there's too much corroborating evidence that they're good dudes for it to not be true! All the witnesses stories match! Sorry, I've watched one too many procedurals! 😂 I decided to go with the edit for Drowning because it has a lot of instrumental parts in it, and you're right, it is SUCH a dramatic, kind of epic sounding song, so I thought it fit well with Sam and Dean and their fight against the evil things! 😊 Thanks for your reaction! 💓

I love “Let Me Be.” But who did he have in mind when writing that…fans, his family, his agents, combination? Of course the lyrics are joint with Steve, but I am still so curious.
