Thank you for sharing your story of Polly. As for whether we get any enjoyment out of watching these with you, I'd offer an emphatic yes (that I think is echoed by others). I learned a lot.
Much gratitude to the amazing editors of this and of the Rob/Rich video request.

I think it was very healing for a lot of us to see this video, as I hope it was for you Shelly! I had my fingers crossed that the song ‘Amazing’ would be included, it’s my favorite Louden Swain song and very close to my own experiences. No stroke for me (thank God!). But I did have a bout with aphasia during a period of kidney failure. It was the scariest thing I’ve ever been through and, like Rob, anytime I can’t find the word I want - fear goes through me like an icicle.
I just want to thank Karen @adoptdontshoppets for this, and Shelly, I’m so very sorry about your friend. I hope your memories of Polly’s life continue to fill your heart and bring you peace.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Shelley. My husband lost his mom fairly young to a stroke. It can indeed impact a person of any age or physical health. ((hugs))

I'll echo Karen and Luis' sentiments and tell you how sorry I am that you lost your friend. To lose her so unexpectedly must have been even more jarring and traumatic. It's lovely to hear you say that you are happy to remember Polly and that you want to focus on her life. I believe that's how our loved ones live on, through our memories and stories of them. Because you shared some of Polly's story with us, I will also think of her and her impact on your life, and her spirit and energy will continue. Sending you lots of love and a big thanks for sharing your story with us.
I very much enjoyed your reaction to this wonderful video - great job, Karen!! It never fails to make me tear up when I see just how much the cast all means to each other. It makes me proud and happy all over again to be part of the SPN family! 💗

Like Karen said, no words can express how sorry I am for what happened to your friend Polly, and I hope you can feel the love we as a community have for you and that it gets to transcend through the screen (cause I know a lot of us feel the same), you are part of the fandom and this fandom is a family so we’re here for you, whenever and however you need it (and this goes for everyone here).
Karen, I loved the video, it was incredible, not only for the subject itself but how you handled it, like in the akf, you not only shown us a story that happened, but you create awareness on this important topics, thank you for that. 🧡

No words can convey how sorry I am for the tragic loss of your friend. Thank you for sharing some of Polly’s story with us.
The video provided an insight to the closeness of the cast and hopefully the second request video from Sharon will help lift your spirits with the look at the wonderful friendship of Rob and Rich.
