Jensen has directed several more episodes, including in S.15. He took a couple of seasons off when the twins were first born but then was able to get back in there. FUN FACT: Jensen is slated to direct an episode of ‘Walker’ this season. He was scheduled to direct last year, but because of his shooting schedule with ‘The Boys’ he had to bow out.

He can touch him 😂, ben edlund is my favorite writer, not only is cas his favorite character, but he really writes him the best & he generally has a great mind & wrote my favorite episodes, i am still living in 5x04 "the end" years after it was aired, he's great at world building & at giving cas this out of this world feeling to him, unfortunately he left in season 8 & i really wish he stayed longer 😭. Here are ben's episodes & robbie thompson's episodes: Ben edlund: Season 2 Episode 5: "Simon Said" Episode 12: "Nightshifter" Episode 18: "Hollywood Babylon" Season 3 Episode 3: "Bad Day at Black Rock" Episode 9: "Malleus Maleficarum" Episode 13: "Ghostfacers" Season 4 Episode 5: "Monster Movie" Episode 8: "Wishful Thinking" (with Lou Bollo) Episode 16: "On The Head Of A Pin" Season 5 Episode 4: "The End" Episode 10: "Abandon All Hope..." Glad you had fun with this, Shelley. I loved your “fourth wall.” 😂 And I just love how you said Dean’s superpower is loyalty. So true 🧡

I think Jensen was doing some acting to pretend he didn’t know about Destiel, unless he just didn’t know the name of it. But I doubt even that, because Castiel has been around for 4 years already.

Great video, Karen! As always - I'm impressed. Was this the first time that ship was mentioned to Jensen? I had forgotten that...but it makes sense given the changes he made after S8. Once the cat was out of the bag the fans wouldn't stop. Unfortunately. If I were a shipper I would have been pissed at the tiny fraction who caused all the drama. Again, I support the fandom's ships - ALL OF THEM. But keep it in the fandom, people. Shelley - S7 was only divisive within the fandom. Not the general audience, which is where the true metrics are measured. They survived the Friday night death slot, won a few awards (even ones they previously hadn't before) and got Hall H. They were doing something right. I don't think anyone will ever say that S7 was their favorite, but it certainly wasn't the worst. Well...in general. Fandom circles might tell you a different thing. As far as ratings and viewership... S1 had the highest for both. S2 and S4 were tied at second for viewership. S5 and S9 have higher ratings but less viewers. All in all, the numbers were pretty consistent until the last few seasons.

Karen, this was awesome! I haven't seen most of these videos, so it was awesome to watch! Shelley, just as a fun fact - which you may already know - "Carver Edlund", Chuck's penname that he used to write the Supernatural books was an amalgamation of Jeremy Carver and Ben Edlund's last names, since they were writers on the show, although not on that episode! :) Ben Edlund did write "The Man Who Would Be King". He also wrote: ◼Simon Said,◼ Nightshifter, ◼Hollywood Babylon, ◼Bad Day at Black Rock, ◼Ghostfacers, ◼Monster Movie, ◼Wishful Thinking, ◼On the Head of a Pin, ◼The End, ◼Abandon All Hope, ◼Clap Your Hands if You Believe, (the alien/fairy episode) ◼The French Mistake, ◼Repo Man (he's to blame for Jeffery breaking your heart!😄) ...and many others (just in the first 7 seasons.) Basically, most of the odd, quirky/BEST episodes were written by Ben - such a weird and wonderfully talented guy! The show did end up with 327 episodes! It made me laugh to hear them hoping for 200. 😊
