Just joined up on Patreon, after watching on Youtube. Feel like I am now getting more value from the full reaction. I was thinking "shouldn't this ep be done by now?" but no, there was a lot more to go. Thanks Chad & Arianna - you're my favourite duo on the channel.

2022-01-05 17:30:07 +0000 UTCSomeone may better explain but just to defend Dike a little bit, he was a decorated officer and some reports say he was shot in the assault on Foy and in shock leading to his hesitation to continue the attack. Keep in mind the book and the series is based on Easy Company men’s’ recollections and they never warmed up to him personally apparently (his portrayal in the show also makes for better drama). Additionally, not sure if Speirs was ever in Winter’s list of potential COs and it’s possible the series did it that way for dramatic purpose when the moment happens but I believe I read/saw that Speirs just happened to be the first officer Winters saw when he needed to send some in to relief Dike.
