I don't know if I would classify her as a "badass bitch". Jody is more badass. But Felicia is more character driven, quirky and fun (I love Jody, FTR).

2021-08-22 03:27:00 +0000 UTCDick is such a dick. Guns have been used for terrible things, but it was a creative invention, focusing the energy of small explosion to propel a projectile towards where someone aims, is very smart. Just wished people used them more for rodeos and county fairs, haha.

The badest bitch of the bunch. Our main girl and defo a fan fave. She is the epitome of geekieness and I love her and the fact that felicia day plays her just makes it perfect.

FYI, at the beginning of the episode, Charlie was moving money from a right-wing PAC bank account to an animal charity. She’s a white hat hacker. 🧡 This episode is always fun for me because based on the map they show, Richard Roman Enterprises is walking distance from my mom’s condo which is just seven minutes from my house. And the airport they go to is about seven minutes the opposite direction from my house.

The new printing is no longer available so only used ones, but the exchange rates including shipping *ugh* so have to abandon my search. Unfortunately, it only comes up to S7. For S8 there is only the compilation coffee book table version. There are no more companion books after that.

We won't notice or care because we'll all be high on Turduckens and anything else they feed us (Sucrocorp) that is prepackaged or restaurant food. Yes I agree Charlie is a great character. Will we see her again, who knows with this show. I also really liked the way this one was shot. The boxes reminded me of a comic book and with duel action going on in them it was interesting to see. Supernatural is always so good at experimenting with format. Glad you had such a good time with this one. I can't wait to see what the boys stole from Dick.

Robbie really did a very good job for his first season of Supernatural, coming up with Slash Fiction, Time After Time, and now this episode, introducing an iconic fan-girl role that we, the real-life fans, can be proud of. Also, this episode looks so much different in formatting than the normal, regular ones, that I can't get enough of. Also if anyone notices, the previous episode, Of Grave Importance, this one and the next are very light on the boys, specifically Jared. Bobby and Annie were the focus in the last one, while Charlie was in this. And we'll see if the pattern holds for the next one. They were designed this way to pave him some time off because Gen was expecting to deliver their first son, Thomas, who was born on March 19, 2012, when they were shooting the next episode, 7x21. (This episode aired on April 27, 2012). The shuffling of scheduling to give Jared the best of times to shoot him out of the episodes in order to give him a five-day weekend, which eventually the baby delivery date fell nicely into, was called Operation Moose Drop by the crews. 2021-08-18 07:28:44 +0000 UTCYay!!! We’ve all been waiting for you to get to this one. Out of kind of a subpar season, this episode is a freaking gem! Charlie is such a fun, quirky character. Love her SO much! You hit on a really important thing when you compared her to Becky. Charlie is a representation of “nerd-dom” as a whole and they made her cool, quirky, 🏳️🌈, progressive, and just all around awesome. I don’t think I’ve ever met or talked to anyone who doesn’t love Charlie. Becky is a whole nother story. She is supposed to be a reflection of us, SPN fans. Ever since she was first introduced, she was cringy, obsessive and…I don’t know if shallow is the right word…maybe just more 2 dimensional. A lot of fans, most of them actually, really did NOT like her. And after this episode, seeing how reverently they framed other fandom, it was like, “wow, I guess the people involved with the show really think we suck…” It’s still a bit of a sore spot for a lot of fans, tbh. But anyways, I wanted to thank you so much for your commentary throughout this whole season. S7 has always been my least favorite out of them all (mostly because Cas content was scarce, what happened to Bobby, and them not really utilizing the Leviathans as much as I wanted them to). I actually used to just skip to 7x18, then to this one and that was my S7 rewatch, lol! But watching your reactions and having you bring up so many points that I had never thought about in a lot of these episodes has really raised my opinion of it. It’s still my least favorite, but I can appreciate it much more now. I know there are still a few more to go, but I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate you☺️ Super excited for the next one!

2021-08-18 07:01:42 +0000 UTCFirst of all, what a cute cat ❤️ The intro of Charlie is so iconic, her walking on sunshine is a total mood booster and Felicia was great! I love Robbie (the writer of this episode) he created Charlie and also wrote time after time (when Dean went back to the past) The scene when Dean indirectly flirts with the security guy will never not be funny, I can only imagine how much fun Jared had during that scene… Not too much to say about this, Charlie stoled the episode, I mean… a lot happened but honestly, she was the absolute best, and when Dean said she was like a sister (even if he said that never wanted) warmed my heart 🥺❤️ Awesome episode, awesome reaction, cant wait for the rest🙌🏻
