This guy has been fighting against Sauron for most of his life, watching his friends, family, and country men die in battle after battle. He is very patriotic, compassionate, and faithful to his oaths and family. He never even wanted to come on this journey in the first place because he hated to be so far from home. Its not pride or vanity that dives him to desire the ring, but a desire to save his homeland. Remember Boromir is just a man, he is young, and history from 3000 years ago is barely legend to him. He's NOT a bad guy. Cut him some slack, the Ring gets to everyone, and I mean everyone.

The time between Gandalf leaving in the beginning and coming back after he discovered the nature of the ring was something like 10 years. Frodo and Sam are quite grown, Marry is younger, in his mid 20s, and pippin is something like 20 or 21. Sam is in his 30s, frodo is the oldest hobbit on the journy.

I had a different frame rate on the dune video that caused desyncing, and because of the blurred video I had everything I needed to figure out I needed to play my copy of dune at around 96 percent speed. It's a really great method 😊
