Can't help it but Garth really is an awesome side character! He is so different in the best ways and what a welcomed breath of fresh air.

2021-08-11 18:02:44 +0000 UTCI watch this now and laugh at all of Dean's snide remarks about micro-brews since Jensen and family now have the Family Business Beer Company in Texas; which you are probably familiar with. I'm guessing 99.9% of the fans adore Garth. I like how the writers have fed us just a little bit more about the character each time we see him and D J Qualls has put his stamp on it and made Garth shine. We are about to shift gears and go full throttle. These next episodes are the banquet we've been waiting for. I think having the Leviathans be the focus of most episodes of the season would have been too much and I also think the writers bit off more than they could chew (yes,pun intended with cheese sauce) when they came up with the nearly unkillable villain of the season. But their impact is strong here at the end. As usual, loved your reaction. I was reliving my ah ha moment through you when it clicked about the flask. I was already pretty sure those previous hints meant Bobby stayed but this episode was the proof and I went a little crazy with the reveal. Knowing how bad the boys want to see him, it broke my heart to see Dean move right past Bobby and grab the flask. This show knows exactly how to grab and twist your emotions. I hate it and I love it, lol.

2021-08-11 07:52:13 +0000 UTC"You've been Garht" "I Garth-ed you" I mean, who can we not love him. Funny Badass dude who is far from your stereotypical hunter, which I love. I totally forgot it was this episode when we see ghost Bobby and yeah bittersweet feeling. On one side, we get to see him and in the other he did not moved on, and like the reaper said, he has done enough and he deserves some peace. That aside I do love how even with "small" things he has been helping them all along since he died, after all they are his boys... Anyway, great reaction, see you in the next one.

I would actually forget about the Leviathans during my first time watching this season. Watching in real time we'd have one episode a week and breaks and such, so I think it was pretty easy to forget there was suppose to be a Big Bad this season. But when I did remember, I was like you - wondering what was up. I personally think the writer's just didn't know what to do with them, because they were suppose to be so powerful and impossible to kill. How many times could they have Sam and Dean come across one and "win"?
