2021-08-15 05:11:42 +0000 UTCAt this point the big corporations are running our government and the 1% represents both sides of the aisle. They don't care who you are or who you support. They just care about staying rich and controlling the other 99% below them. The Leviathans in the season really are such a great representation of that, right down to the charity/cancer research covering up all the awful things they're really doing.

Darn Sera Gamble getting rid of Cas, the Impala, then Bobby and now Frank. 😔 And I really do not know why they would not let the guy eat his boss. One less body that they have to worry about chopping up or burying in cement.

2021-08-05 00:10:09 +0000 UTCI find this one interesting with the cursed objects. Cursed objects is a favorite idea to me. I love the lore of some "thing" having an effect. And this episode minus the Leviathans seemed like a short story with the objects and the safe and two guys collecting all the things and taking them away. But I was glad we did get back to Leviathans being around and what they are up to. My other favorite thing was seeing the boss from hell decapitated.

Even something as simple as faking us out with all the knives and scissors and then, suprise, it's a cursed teapot! Considering the entire theme of the Boys goes after corporate power and greed, political corruption, pretty much whatever is prevalent in America that can be targetted, twisted, and brutal to examine under the guise of superheroes, I've always wondered what Kripke thought about the content of this season. Cannot wait to share the next episode with you. Always look forward to your inciteful reactions!

The leviathan has been a metaphor for corporate greed among other things.
