This is one of my favorite Supernatural episode but it's hard as there are so many good ones.

2020-12-28 16:45:13 +0000 UTCI love this episode. What I remember from watching this 10 years ago, is at the end I was basically Cas. I was sooooooo angry and disappointed they would get no help from god. Now, I feel worse for Dean who is heartbroken and feels unwanted after seeing Sam”s “heaven.” But the fireworks scene will forever be one of my favorites in the show. It’s not often you get to see them truly happy. It’s nice to see that they had a few good memories growing up. Those memories are truly special because they likely had so few. I must say I absolutely loved how you gave Pamela the biggest side-eye when she started talking up how heaven is so great and no big deal to die and leave earth. From one aspect, I mean she did get her eyes painfully burned out, so a Ramones concert does sound way better. Yet, she is selling heaven so hard it does kinda sound like she isn’t real and has been planted by Zachariah. And so does this mean Zachariah was able to choose to show Sam’s memories that didn’t involve Dean so that he felt excluded? Maybe. But clearly not all of heaven is manipulated by Zachariah, because I agree that Joshua seems real. So I am going to keep believing Ash was real because he was so fun and helpful in this episode. Loved seeing him and don’t want him to also have been a trick by Zachariah.
