I don't think it's wise to use youtube for memberships because of the fickle nature as it is now on top of the crazy profit youtube is siphoning off from you. You've already shown us song demos and finalised songs here in Patreon. So I think from songwriting channel, you can also direct potential patrons who wish to see the behind-the-scene stuff over here too? If you're thinking about higher membership fees, will kajabi/makingmusicfast website be a better fit for technical content? Kajabi can be the platform for you to showcase more technical stuff when creating songs. And you can include nifty tricks/tips you can do on Pro Tools / Logic Pro / Cubase / whatever software there is (I'm dumb) which not many users know. I think it's possible to "kill 2 birds with 1 stone" during song creation process - (a) making songs for songwriting channel & (b) making technical content for serious learners. Whatever happened to your "5 stars out of 5" Course materials? Are there any edited stuff you can use to push into your kajabi website and also showcase it on songwriting channel? If possible, can kajabi have a webpage of glossary with links to the techy vids for easy accessibility? Like how glossary on textbooks are, short explanations of exact terminology that you want to know/learn and go straight to specific page for information. Instagram has subscribers feature. Maybe you want to check that out too? Here's my Q: We all know how you feel about "Happy" by Pharrell Williams. Any other songs that you dislike? What about these songs that gives you the ick? I’d rather if I am paying to support someone most of that money get to them, since I’m already giving Youtube money for premium, I really don’t get why creators have to give so much of theirs too.
