That video is a gift that keeps on giving, so not a bad bday gift at all to have 😁 I have watched it quite a few times now and I will get back to it probably every now and then in the future too...at least on the moments when I want to smile and laugh so much that it hurts my face 😄

For example I need sound (a podcast or audiobook) on in my room to sleep otherwise my brain goes into overdrive and I'll be awake for hours! As a creative, your brain must be going 100 miles p/hour so how do you switch it off to rest? X

Q: I sometimes feel like artists are compromising their art & sincerity for tiktok or going viral, like there is pressure/ desire for a song to have a viral tiktok line? Do you see this or what is your opinion on how social media might seep into art? Do you as an artist notice this or feel any pressure to make style choices that follow social media trends? As an example, I heard the new vaultboy song “everything hits me at once” before it was released and it felt so genuine, it has tongue and cheek parts but it still felt sincere. the final product the verses had sound effects & tiktok-y dialogue, that make it feel less genuine to me because i’m cynical with social media. I couldn’t think of another example that is recent, and I get the marketing and its still an emotional & good song that I believe is genuine, but it made me ponder! Sorry that was long, was trying to articulate the feeling! Looking forward to the videos!

I'm from a Scandinavian country too and I can tell you, that having cold, clammy, dark, wet, rainy weather for 6 months a year, that dictate whether you CAN leave the house or not, is depression guaranteed. Being able to go out into sunshine on demand is pure medicine. I have also moved to a sunny country for this reason regardless of my opportunities here, or how much I'm actually outside in the sun.
