1. The portrait behind Gihren in this episode is a reference to The Apparition by French artist Gustave Moreau, painted between 1874 and 1876. The artwork depicts the biblical figure Salome dancing before Herod Antipas, while a vision of John the Baptist's severed head appears before her. 2. Cecelia Irene, Gihren's personal secretary and rumored mistress, typically seen in the background in the OG series, is revealed as one of the main antagonists in the spin-off manga Mobile Suit Gundam: The Plot to Assassinate Gihren. 3. The "Zeknova" phenomenon closely mirrors another event that occurs later in the main UC timeline. And the center of the zeknova seems to be still the rose so everything went to that single point. The interesting part is that the rose and g-fred remained and didn't go with abou qu.
