I've just gone to put everyone's names into the very fast scroll at the end of the VideoBits for July, and even though we mostly do it as a bit of a chuckle, I know it's fun for people to try to find their names in the list, and I'd like to continue to do it. However, Patreon has made a change to how they provide the names to us and it's no longer separate Firstname and Lastname - it's just one name.
My personal preference would be to just go ahead and put in the full names. That's how most other Patreon-supported people do it, and it allows you to make up a funny name or phrase each month to appear in the credits. There's some podcasts I listen to who let their subscribers put in tiny advertisements or shoutouts or whatever they want for their "name."
That's basically the plan, but I'd like to also get a quick gauge of how you all feel about it!
For the record, no one's getting personal credit in the July VideoBits. Sorry!
