Chat emote opinions
Added 2020-01-21 01:04:46 +0000 UTCA few users have brought up the idea of limiting somehow our max emote size, as the largest options can be a bit obnoxious when spammed.
A few options we've come up with are the following
1. Allow streamers to set max emote render size for their chat - larger emotes will be shrunk on display, to keep chat a bit more tidy
2. Allow users to set max emote render size for all chats - a chat option similar to some of the others we have (at the top right of the chat), this would be purely user-side
3. Make max emote size 100x100 (down from 200x200) - this seems like a nuclear option, as I know large emotes are popular with a lot of people. Including for completeness.
