Piczel.tv September update

Hi all,

Thanks as always for your support, currently we're working hard with twice the usual number of devs to rewrite a large chunk of piczel - things will end up looking basically the same, but we'll have better optimized code, smoother navigation around the site, and a bunch of new features for our stream player - DVR support and PiP to name some of the big ones.

We've also recently updated our stream server to further reduce stream latency - please set your keyframe interval to 1 to get as low as 6 seconds of latency on the default stream player. Note that this will likely increase bandwidth usage and CPU usage in OBS, so please feel free to ask if you would like a hand making sure your stream will be smooth.

I'll be putting a poll up for square vs round icons, as suggested by a user, since we sort of arbitrarily picked circles back when designing piczel. I'll get some mockups first though.

There are still people who haven't linked their patreon accounts! Please be sure to do so so that you can get your patreon rewards - https://piczel.tv/account/patreon ! We haven't been making posts because generally that has been working very well for us.

Lastly, we have fixed the bug that prevented patreon premium codes from being applied automatically! Thank you for those that reported it and thank you for your patience while we shake the bugs out of new systems.
