I hope you enjoy the replay of our October Body Lab class.
Return to this practice any time your respiratory system needs a little boost, or when you are in the process of clearing, releasing, renewing something.
There is a lot of wisdom in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda that speaks to cleansing during the Fall season. Lungs are the organ associated with the autumn season in Traditional Chinese Medicine as well. Clearing the phlegm, the mucus, the clogged skin, the craziness of the year. The winds come through, lifting deadened leaves from trees, carrying them elsewhere.
This way the cycle continues, unburdened.
In this Body Lab Class we:
-Do ballwork
-Stretch
-Do breathwork
-Pay particular caring attention to our respiratory muscles, upper back, neck, and chest
-Releasing the tension and burden of the upper body so that we can get more oxygen into our blood, and improve our respiration.
-Refresh our breath
This practice provides support for making big and necessary changes in our lives.
