EMA Immersion Session12

Hello Sweetness!

Happy Spring NAVARATRI everyone!

In other words, there are millions of humans honoring the Divine Feminine right now! How cool is that?

This is a holy festival celebrated all over the world that originated from Hinduism and upheld with the utmost devotion and joy by devotees of the Great Mother Goddess Durga and her Power (Shakti) over Ignorance.

In this EMA Immersion session I discuss why SHAKTI is important to erotic energy and how it literally empowers everything I do!

If you are interested in Goddess Durga from a female tantric perspective, I recommended reading my dear sister and brilliant Tantra scholar/ Shakta Priestess,/Teacher, Laura Amazzone's book, "Goddess Durga  and Sacred  Female Power"

(It  would be quite something to read this  book during Navaratri)

This year, in North  America we celebrate her 9 Nights of Victory from 4/12-4/21  (the lunar calendar is used so it depends on where you live).  If you don't have a traditional  Durga Puja or sadhana to do during this time, you can check  your local Indian or Nepalese community to see if they have a public fesitval or offering. Perhaps you may find one online or the best choice would be to just bring forth your heartfelt creativity and make an alter to the Great Mother Goddess in any form you love or how she shows up to you organically. Go out to Nature, steward the Earth Goddess, write a  poem or a song, Dance for 9 nights or cook something special and  offer it to someone with love. This is a time to unabashedly show up from your Divine Feminine, powered by Shakti and celebrate all the Goddesses in your life as well!

May we all be protected, feel safe, nourished and take refuge in  Durga, the Fortress so we may all together liberate all beings.

Jai MA,

Rie

Here is a beautiful version with english translation and amazing animation of the Devi Kavacham. This is a wonderful chant during Navaratri and anytime you need protection: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MWK9-Ztl5j8

HI May, so happy to know you enjoyed my talk here as well as the EMA class. Below is a link to my favorite recording of the Devi Kavacham (Armour of the Goddess) from the Chandi Path, chants of devotion for the Great Mother Goddess (Devi). We are on the 1st night of the last triad and you can make offerings to Durga and Kali! Offer anything from your most sincere heart and flowers always make her happy!

This is so beautiful Rie. I loved studying this and then doing the ema class you posted same day on love afterwards. Can you refer me to music for celebrating Navaratri/ making offerings to Durga?
