BODY LAB: Free Your Shoulders for Ease of Breath and Heart Access

Hello friends - 

Happy mid-week with a lovely shoulder release class that has been mindfully sequenced for juicy mobility of the head, face, jaw, neck, shoulders and respiratory muscles that will lead to deeper breathing and feeling your heart's true nature - receptive and the unlimited potential to lead your life from LOVE ! 

I remember this was one of the most loved classes from those who attended live - we had a blast with the magical shoulder floating exercise aka the post-tetanic potentiation. Who remember that?

AFTER THE  CLASS:

Please take 5-20 minutes to meditate.  Now that you have cleared some cobwebs (rigid fascia and tight muscles), how do you feel? Can you stay present to the spaciousness and availability?  This is what embodying receiving love, acceptance  and abundance can feel like.  Even if its just a little change, do you feel more calm? 

Meditation of the 'heart gate'  includes the lungs, ribs, shoulder group, breastbone, collarbone, armpits, breasts, nipples, thymus gland, arms and hands. Stay connected to any of these areas with care to keep your mind from drifting away from your body if you are new to meditation.

Some offerings for our life giving breath could be generosity, forgiveness, compassion, joy or integration.

At the end of your meditation, come back to outer awareness slowly.  Take some conscious deep breaths, stretch your arms over head and make some sounds out loud like loud sigh or hum like a pleasure moan.

When you are complete bow to your self and to the Great energy that unifies all.

Props used for this class:  yoga strap or a long scarf or belt, classic size Tune Up Balls and the Corgeous ball. As always, you don't have to  have the exact props, you  can always roll up  a towel, use a tennis  ball, etc.
