DECEMBER NEW MOON MUSINGS

Let's drop in.

There is a great amount of cosmic energy moving right now influencing our minds and subtle energy body. Perhaps you are exhausted and dealing with a lot muck or distractions from getting yourself back on track. 

Or perhaps you are straight up rocking this the new moon and total solar eclipse like the master of the universe! 

However this time is landing for you, I wanted to give you a little reminder to show a lot of empathy towards the part of yourself that is struggling. Like A LOT of empathy.
She/he needs to be seen, heard and understood with a lot of compassion by YOU first - the inpatient you, the perfectionist you, the prison guard you and all the many you that sometimes forgets about the process of slowing down and listening to your heart.

So, the pre Winter Solstice New Moon is the darkest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and can offer much deep wisdom. The heart's potential for such tenderness and fierce self love can awaken when the distractions of the outer references have less power over you and the healing energy of self referenced wisdom takes over.  Yes, the opportunity for the ego to pause and rest in the luminous darkness supported by this winter season divinely supports this internal journey work so deeply. This, to me is why I absolutely love the Divine Goddess Mother Kali. This space in the eternal void aka Wuji or the center of the heart and womb is where I meet Kali. Yes, in my own body (More on my love for Kali with the Shakti Tiers). 

Our light is most visible in the dark so embracing what is waiting for us this Winter cycle is really exciting!  I will be covering Winter wisdom through the lens of traditional chinese medicine in another post soon.

On Monday, December 21st 6:00 - 8:30 PM PST I am offering a Winter Solstice Women's Circle + Ritual to honor this potent time.

I would love to come together with my women folk and release the year, honor the wisdom of endings and the dark, which is necessary for the consciousness of birthing to awaken fully in the spring. We will honor the Divine Mother Goddess by dance, music and sharing.  Dance is one of the oldest form of ritual and celebration, let's move our precious one & only bodies and our energy will move too.

Dec 21 will also bring Jupiter and Saturn the closest to Earth in 800 years for the "Great Conjunction". What a historic and incredible day! These 2 are our most  giant planets and will be so close that they will be shining the brightest light in our night sky. This event is being called the 'Star of Bethlehem',  'the Christmas kiss' and the famous 'Age of  Aquarius' we've heard so much about. Astrologers are pointing to this as a Great Consciousness Awakening as Saturn (rules/tradition/growth from hard work) and Jupiter (spirituality/visionary new ways of thinking) enters Aquarius. If you love astrology or astronomy (which i  do), you will have a fun google dive with this upcoming big cosmic dance.

May this Winter season of slowing down, rest, replenishment and compassion bring you much healing.
