Could bee shown like a dream sequence the events coloured by Julia's perspective perhaps differing from Monica's recollection. Either damming or a aggrandized with a 50/50 split of a twist. Loves the monster / hates the monster or like wise with her kinder selves. So you would have the element of comeuppance with the possibility that Julia's fancies may differ from what the player expects. The segments could be enlightening, there delivery timed to arrive just after the player makes decisions that impact Julia significantly.
