Skyrim Status Update #1

Alright let's kick off this status update series.  I started the Skyrim project in November, and as of a week ago concluded the playthroughs.  This totaled 173 hours, or 1.13 terabytes (there was some mild redundancy).  My thought process was to do three characters, one for each play style in Skyrim (warrior, stealth, magic).  Since then I've gotten some basic markers down so I know what primary content happens when, so now I'm set up to begin the script writing process.

If you weren't around for Oblivion, this can be a lengthy process.  When I hit the wall editing, there is usually something productive that can be done.  When I hit the wall writing, the project just stops.  I'll try to keep you appraised of the situation with frequent status updates, but don't be surprised if progress rubberbands for the next month or two.

STREAMS

Also, you may have seen that I did a TON of streams in November.  Having done the streams at this stage should help better integrate the videos into my own project (unlike Oblivion where because I streamed mid writing, the videos began showing up mid video)

Streams will likely continue into a less frequent show, either weekly or bi-monthly.  That should help cater to the stream audience that I've accrued over the past year so they don't have to wait 6 months for more content.

VIDEOS

Speaking of starved audiences, as a heads up the next side project probably isn't going to be for another month at least.  I plan on reviewing Elden Ring next March.  I also plan on reviewing No Mans Sky, Outer Worlds, Elite Dangerous, Fallout 76, and Starfield in 2022.  Reflecting on the previous year, I'd like to up the amount of side content being produced.  I would not have minded the Oblivion video taking one or two more months if it meant being able to produce more small videos along the way.

That said, my goal is to have the video out before Starfield, so the next 11 months are going to be pretty hectic.
